Do a neighborhood survey to find out what are the issues that are important to the people. Be ready to anticipate the most common questions and have a super answer ready.
Find out who would be willing to hold a coffee hour for neighbors that they know and make yourself known during the coffee hour. Keep finding friendly ways to get known in your neighborhood.
